Leather knife sheaths
Vegetable-tanned leather sheaths provide classic protection for hunting knives, bushcraft blades and camp knives. Popper-stud closures and belt loops in various configurations are available. Leather sheaths develop a patina with use and are repairable in the field.
Kydex and polymer sheaths
Kydex thermoplastic sheaths offer retention, adjustability and weather-resistance that leather can't match. Popular with tactical users, police and military — the audible click of a Kydex sheath confirms a blade is safely retained.
Nylon and utility blade covers
